It's easy to keep up with MetroABQ artist Courtney Angermeier's current installations: simply take a walk three blocks west of Nob Hill to Columbia St south of Garfield. Her cinder block & wood fence public art murals begin there south of UNM, & when she has more time, the southwestern animal & landscape scenes then continue their colorful trek south. Angermeier has brought "The Gathering" to the Victory Hills Neighborhood. Her street art is thoughtful & fun.
Angermeier saw a desolate section of the street behind her house--which backs up to a large cemetery--& decided to do something to it. I've been coming back regularly to see her progress. This is from over the summer...And these were toward the end of the summer...
