Beyond Nob Hill Public Art: Artist Courtney Angermeier's "The Gathering"

It's easy to keep up with MetroABQ artist Courtney Angermeier's current installations: simply take a walk three blocks west of Nob Hill to Columbia St south of Garfield. Her cinder block & wood fence public art murals begin there south of UNM, & when she has more time, the southwestern animal & landscape scenes then continue their colorful trek south. Angermeier has brought "The Gathering" to the Victory Hills Neighborhood. Her street art is thoughtful & fun.

Angermeier saw a desolate section of the street behind her house--which backs up to a large cemetery--& decided to do something to it. I've been coming back regularly to see her progress. This is from over the summer...And these were toward the end of the summer...

The images above & below are more recent--I call it the Fall Collection of Courtney Angermeier's "The Gathering"...I'll keep coming back...

More street art from Courtney Angermeier is here.

The foreground is often litter & plant detritus, which can add to the feel of the image...
