Living in Nob Hill for the past decade & in neighborhoods around Nob Hill going on thirty years, I feel I understand what "a-compact-village-in-an-urban-metropolis" means. The Nob Hill Neighborhoods & Business Districts contain (almost) everything a self-contained town needs to prosper. Groceries & dining, recreation & entertainment, health services, employment & housing--the Nob Hill Neighborhoods have all that, & so much more if you explore.
I created this site over a bunch of years, collecting images & maps & documents & information, & exploring the different, distinct neighborhoods. Early on, as I walked my dog in the summer heat, I mapped the Greater Nob Hill Greenspaces Map, to locate the parks & greenspaces where we could find shade.
From there, Nob Hill Neighborhoods slowly took shape. Each neighborhood is unique & it's easy to get lost in thought as you wander throughout...
Me. As a child, my father bought and fixed up properties, then rented them out. An early memory is holding drywall along a stairwell as he hammered the nails, then taped the seams. My family had just moved into the house in Upstate NY: a three-story 1870’s Tudor-style Queen Anne Victorian Revival, with a round tower on one side. It had been used as a Skidmore College freshman dormitory, recent image below. My parents bought it for $70,000 & moved our family of six there in the ‘70’s. I’ve marveled at unique & interesting homes ever since.
Moving to Albuquerque after college, I lived in all quadrants of the city, often zigzagging through neighborhoods just to see what can be seen. I became a realtor fourteen years ago to continue doing what I enjoy.
I am a dedicated seven-days-a-week real estate professional in the top 5% of MetroABQ Realtors — I know and love the greater Albuquerque area. I live in Nob Hill near the Big I & my office is in the NE Heights—both locations allow me to be anywhere in the city within minutes. I continually seek out the hidden gems in all areas of the city for my buyers, and I am a tireless promoter of all my listings.
